Depuis le 23 avril, les œuvres de plusieurs élèves de l’école Pierre-Laporte sont exposées au Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal dans le cadre de l’exposition Mon territoire intérieur, quatrième chapitre du projet Territoires en création, récipiendaire d’un prix Essor en 2019.
Les élèves, guidés par leur enseignante Pascale Bouchard, ont exploré des techniques mixtes pour exprimer des fragments de leur monde intérieur. Le résultat? Des œuvres fragiles, personnelles et profondément évocatrices, qui forment une métaphore collective d’une terre promise.
Mme Bouchard souligne que le projet amène les jeunes à réfléchir à la manière dont leur environnement influence leur perception d’eux-mêmes et du monde :
« Nous croyons au pouvoir de l’art pour éveiller les consciences, nourrir l’espoir d’un avenir meilleur et rappeler à chaque élève que sa voix compte dans la construction d’un monde plus inclusif. »
L’exposition est ouverte jusqu’au 1er juin. Une belle occasion d’aller découvrir le talent et la sensibilité de nos élèves!
